Spring 2017
New work from Lorna Freytag
“Working on the HeyWow books last year really challenged me creatively to re-direct my style. I wanted to produce strong, vibrant images with a playful, minimal feel to them. This has developed into an exciting new illustration direction for me which can be used in a myriad of ways for editorial & advertising.”
Lorna Freytag
Lorna is also collaborating with design store Editions of 100 to create a new series of images to be sold as prints. These will launch in the summer www.editionsof100.com

Cambridge Jones has super powers
“The Super Powers Agency in Leith (Scotland) is the brainchild of Maxine Sloss – a talented designer who I have worked with many times. She discovered what the writer Dave Eggers was doing in San Francisco and Brooklyn and flew over to learn more. The Super Powers is her own take on the concept – but the core idea remains the same – getting talented artists and other members of the community to offer their time free to help kids from a relatively deprived area with their school work. Central to the idea is the actual shop front and welcome environment that invites school kids in…
I was asked if I would help create a book and exhibition to raise awareness of the project…we started with Meriam Somerset Webb as Wonder Woman and Ian Rankin as The Man from Uncle – hard to refuse! The exhibition will open in Edinburgh later this year with book to follow”.
