Phil Miller

Phil Miller is a artist, photographer and director, with extensive experience of working within the film and television industry.

He divides his time between commercial projects and his own work, producing and exhibiting photo collage art pieces as well as collaborating with record companies to generate creative album artwork and videos for their artists.

In his early career, Phil filmed and documented musicians at the Marquee club in London. Further to this he worked as a Camera Operator and photographer for production companies and T.V. including the BBC and Ch4. He went on to direct a magazine programme for Sky television which reported from the Sundance and Cannes film festivals and directed and filmed a documentary about the feature film Tube Tales.

In recent years he has worked as a director and camera operator for video content, music videos and short films as well as undertaking photography, arts projects and films including the Danny Huston Feature film The Last Photograph and installations for the Turner Contemporary in Margate, including Amphora…the making of  exploring the creative process behind Amphora, a new composition inspired by Jean Arp and Sophie Taeuber scored by Composer Helen Caddick. The film is currently being looped at Turner Contemporary, Margate and will be shown early 2019.
